Hubbards evening community meeting cancelled

We have been meeting with residents of Mahone and St. Margaret’s Bay this week and would like to thank everyone who has attended. We have heard a mix of support and vocal opposition, and we will continue to reach out and engage in the coming weeks.

We had initially booked two community meetings in Hubbards for tomorrow, March 5, 2020 at the Fire Hall. We will now only be proceeding with ONE session; the afternoon session only tomorrow. The meeting will run as scheduled from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Hubbards Fire Hall, #36, Highway 329 in Hubbards. The meeting will run as the same format as our other meetings, starting at 11:30 with information stations and employee availability for questions and feedback. A short presentation will start between 12:00 p.m. and 12:30 p.m., followed by open questions from the floor.

Again, the evening session, originally planned for 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the Hubbards Fire Hall on Thursday, March 5, 2020 has been cancelled.

Our apologies for any inconveniences this may cause. If you would like to speak with someone or have any questions, please contact Vicki Savoie at 902 210 6642.
